#3 tho!! Yes! Even though I’m not coaching any longer, I still notice how pervasive the dependency vs. empowerment issue is in the health & wellness space . . . Actually, I think AI being introduced exacerbates it. The lack of empowerment folks feel individually in arenas like their health spreads into other aspects of their lives & eventually becomes a community problem. The empowerment you offer your clients has positive effects beyond even just themselves. 👏🏻
I agree 100%. When people, especially women, don't believe they have the power to change things, their silence can be taken as agreement with the status quo. There definitely needs to be more community conversations around this topic and the ways we can empower ourselves to make positive changes in our communities.
And...the internet is not a medical doctor..period and even if they say they are, that information might not be applicable to you. You can't reduce the individual attention and history that your medical doctor knows to a sound byte on a publicly written up website, even if it is powered by AI!
Agreed. Not all health information is applicable to all people or situations. This is especially important for those of us with chronic conditions as some health recommendations when inappropriately applied can adversely impact our health.
