Hey there, I’m Tomesha, the voice behind Enhance Black Women’s Health (EBWH) Community. This is where I share a weekly reflection on what’s shaping Black women’s health, with context that’s often missing from the headlines.

Whether you’re a patient, provider, or advocate, if you want to stay informed and ready to act, you’re in the right place. 😉

I Don’t Like Talking About Myself, But…

I’m a health writer and coach working at the intersection of nutrition, systems, and lived experience. My journey began with a deep interest in how food and behavior affect health, which led me to earn credentials from the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association, Precision Nutrition, and the AIP Certified Coach program.

After earning a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development and working at Partners In Health, I expanded my focus to the systems that shape health outcomes long before anyone enters a clinic.

The EBWH Community grew out of the belief that it’s not just what the research says. It’s how ignoring context can contribute to preventable harm and inequities.
